Family Portraits

Family photographs are treasured and are often the first items that are saved in a fire. Kerry understands this importance and aims to create a photograph that illustrates a family as it appears – relaxed and having fun together capturing that 'moment in time'.

With three children of her own Kerry is well equipped to know how to grab the moment with children – including sleeping babies, wiggling toddlers and bored teenagers.

Kerry points out that black and white is the ideal way to photograph children as it doesn't date, no one has to wear colour co-ordinated clothes and skin always looks good, even if you have a toddler who is teething.

Kerry's style is flexible, the pictures can be stylised or informal. The sitter can choose black and white or colour photographs, that can be taken in a studio, in your own home environment or on location.
